City Meets Forest: Shree Jain Vidyalaya, Kolkata Visits Sankalp Shristi Jhargram 🌿

Far from the concrete jungle of Kolkata, a beautiful confluence of two different worlds took place in the serene forests of Gobindpur, Jhargram. In this heartwarming documentary, students and teachers from the prestigious Shree Jain Vidyalaya, Kolkata, embark on a cultural and spiritual journey to Sankalp Shristi Vidya Mandir. Witness the true essence of 'Atithi Devo Bhava' as our tribal students welcome their guests with traditional Shankhnaad, Aarti, and Tilak. Guided by Sankalp Shristi Founder Dr. Avinash Kumar Gupta and Shree Jain Vidyalaya Principal Shri S.K. Pandey, this exchange bridged the gap between urban and rural lives through love and shared humanity. Highlights of this unforgettable journey include: • A tour of our new 3-story facility—a safe haven providing education and computer classes to young girls rescued from the darkness of child marriage. • Visits to the 'Sankalp Shristi Goseva Sadan' (cow shelter) to experience the simplicity of rural life. • Mesmerizing traditional tribal dance performances celebrating our rich heritage. • A collaborative tree plantation drive (Mango and Jamun) and a joyful football match bridging all ages. • A profound nature walk and a traditional community feast (Pangat) at our Khalsiuli branch. Education is not just about books; it is about connecting hearts and building an empowered, inclusive India where no child is left behind.
