As part of my diving into the first Desmo Service (30k km / 18k / mi) on my Hyperstrada I decided to get the engine oil and filter change out of the way. There's a few topics specific to this bike and Ducati in general that I also thought I would address. I also wanted to point out the tools needed and some thoughts on the process itself towards the start of the video. Thanks for watching! Main larger oil drain plug - 12mm hex Small magnetic drain plug - 5mm hex (I do not remove) Oil filter socket/wrench size - 17mm Screen plug cap on side - 14mm hex Internal mesh screen filter - 17mm hex Tighten oil drain plug(s) to a torque of 20 Nm (Min. 18 Nm - Max. 22 Nm) Tighten new oil filter to a torque of 11 Nm (Min. 10 Nm - Max 12 Nm) Refit mesh filter and tighten it to 42 Nm (Min. 38 Nm - Max. 46 Nm) Tighten screen plug to a torque of 42 Nm (Min. 38 Nm - Max. 46 Nm) HiFloFiltro HF153RC Oil Filter - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JDPXMWQ/ How to reset the Oil Service (and Desmo Service) Light Indicator here -    • Ducati Hyperstrada / Hypermotard 821 - Des...
