#aimusic #darkelectrorock #darkpop #originalsong #femalevocals #psychologicalhorror #urbanlegend #horrorgame #animestyle This is the English version of a song originally created in Japanese. Listen to the original Japanese version here:    • 【ロック/AI音楽】日常迷路   I’m not trying to change the song into something completely different for an overseas audience. Rather, I made this version because I love Japanese culture, and I know there are people around the world who feel the same way. If this song reaches someone who enjoys Japanese music, anime-inspired stories, or the atmosphere of Japanese pop culture, I would be very happy. My own reimagining of a certain game-inspired nightmare, rebuilt into a slightly different story. The lyrics, setting, and artwork have all been deliberately changed—but if you know the original inspiration, you may still recognize what is hiding inside this everyday maze. <Lyric> Round the corner—the usual street An old poster, a fluorescent light A way home I've walked so many times before Tonight it feels a little farther off The vending hum, the echo of my shoes Every sound should be familiar Yet however far I walk, the same old sign Stands exactly where it stood before I am just tired That must be all Telling myself that I turn the corner again But when I turned around Beyond the view behind me The road that brought me here Is nowhere to be found Something is wrong here Something is different The street I know now wears a stranger's face Home should be waiting Just beyond the corner But the closer I get, the further it slips away Something is wrong here Or is it just me? No answer comes—only my footsteps ring Shuttered shops and rows of window glass My reflection moves a heartbeat late Deep inside an alleyway that doesn't have a name A light I know is flickering there It feels as if that light could lead me home I quicken my steps to make it sure Yet when I reach another corner The same old poster stares at me Trying to ask someone I look around the street There are silhouettes But I cannot see their face If I try to catch up They vanish round the bend The footsteps left behind Overlap with my own steps Something is wrong here Something is different The town I know is far too still tonight Just trying to go home That is all I want The road unravels somewhere I don't know Something is wrong here Or is it just me? Each time I check, one certainty disappears The map upon my phone Shows one straight road The arrow on the screen Says that I am here But when I raise my head up The road splits into two And at the end of either road The same light waits for me Something is wrong here Something is different The street I know no longer knows my name Home should be waiting Just beyond the corner Even my town's familiar name feels far away Something is wrong here Or is it just me? Searching for an answer, I turn the corner again Though I keep walking All the way to dawn I still can't find my way back to the view I know
