FIRST Guests of Farmhouse in Thandari | We Found Our Perfect Weekend Escape! 🌿❤️

A much-needed weekend escape with my close friends! ❤️ We started our trip at 6:30 AM sharp and headed towards Thandarai, Tamil Nadu, for a stay at Silver Oaks – The Starlit Farm House. Our first stop was a small local Tamil Nadu hotel where we had one of the best and most affordable breakfasts — hot paddu and dosa! 😍 We then planned to visit a temple near Denkanikottai, but since it was closed, we continued towards Kaveri North Wildlife Sanctuary. We didn't spot any animals this time, but we found some beautiful lakes and peaceful places along the way. And then came the unexpected adventure! 😂 We stopped near one of the lakes and a Rottweiler decided to chase us. It was hilarious for the first few seconds… until it wasn't! 😭 Somehow, we escaped and continued straight to our farmhouse. Once we reached the property, it was full-on friends' weekend mode. We carried all the essentials for cooking, and while my friend Nethra had to log in and work over the weekend, I took over the kitchen and cooked chicken fry, dal and rice all by myself. 😎🍗 The farmhouse itself was such a pleasant surprise. We paid ₹5,300 in total, and we were actually the first guests to stay here. The property is huge and can comfortably accommodate around 6 guests, with: Two bedrooms — one downstairs and one on the terrace A huge living room Dining area and kitchen A spacious terrace and balcony Multiple swings Beautiful lighting Plenty of seating spaces around the property Completely different vibes in the morning, evening and at night The resort team also surprised us with some complimentary drinks and snacks, which was a lovely touch. ❤️ This is NOT a promotional video.
