Israel is Me

I saw myself reading through the relationship of God with Israel. I realised the sins they committed were not far from me. The punishments God said will befall them were that their enemies would take over them. But where there was punishment, God promised Restoration ( your ROD and your staff comforts me). God disciplines, and he also forgives.
