The Gospel of Matthew - Week 13 - (10/12/2026)

What happens inside us when someone wrongs us? There is a pull toward retaliation that feels almost instinctive, almost justified. In Matthew 5:38-48, Jesus steps directly into that tension and offers something radically different. This message challenges us to ask whether our faith is shaping how we respond when life is at its most unfair, and whether we trust God enough to leave justice in his hands. This sermon was first preached at Springfield Church of God on October 11, 2026 by Pastor Jason Mitchell.
