Tower of Heaven's Gate - High-Peak Catastrophic Creators: 1I1LaSeR1I1 & Cll0y Difficulty: High-Peak Catastrophic (11.85) Personal Difficulty: High Catastrophic (11.72) Time Spent: 18 Hours (10 Hours of practice?) Enjoyment: 500/10 - This tower is genuinely awesome. Timestamps - Floor 1 - 0:00 Floor 2 - 1:10 Floor 3 - 2:00 Floor 4 - 3:16 Floor 5 - 4:23 Floor 6 - 5:42 Floor 7 - 7:51 Floor 8 - 10:01 Floor 9 - 11:11 Floor 10 - 12:57 Winroom - 14:24 Personal Message: Standing before the gates of heaven, I wondered: how did I end up here? It started when I beat my first catastrophic tower in 2023: Tower of Generation Failure. Directly after, I couldn't get anywhere. My skill rusted away from lack of playing, decreasing to terrifying, even almost reaching extreme skill. I finally awoke in 2025 when I discovered TEA. I slowly climbed back up, beating my first terrifying: Steeple of Polynomial C. I climbed up the difficulty until I faced Tower of Linear Jank, which didn't go down easy, but after countless hours I completed it. After that, I was sweeping every tower I was curious about, like CoLDC. Then I beat a new hardest, Tower of Ruthless Royal Architecture, which took multiple fails far into the final stretch, even failing the last jump once. With ToRRA done, I finally dared to grind catastrophic towers. Out of nowhere, I decided Tower of Terse Persecution was fit for me. At first I wasn't confident, until suddenly, after days of on-and-off practice, I managed to beat it right after getting past Floor 4. I knew I could keep this pace going, so I revisited my old grind: Tower of Heaven's Gate. I was getting solid progress on the earlier floors, although not reaching the safety net on Floor 6 yet. Last night, after failing far into F5 once again, I was ready to hop off the computer. Instead, I chose to keep going since there was no harm in one final run. Until suddenly, I somehow managed to get a run into the safety net. I thought this would only be a progress marker, not a win of the tower... right??? This completion means much more to me, because I used to be stuck at low catastrophic towers. If there is anything to take from this video, no matter how long it takes... you only lose once you stop trying.
