Elad FDM Duo 8w on 80m via Wide-Bander/42ft wire antenna

Just before bedtime turned the radio onto 80m and heard UKEICC contest and thought I’d have a go to see if I could make a contact or two. Using the Elad FDM Duo which is a 5w radio although delivers around 8w coupled with the Wonder Wand Wide-Bander with a 42ft wire partial inverted V at just under 10 metres and counterpoise. This contest rules do not require signal reports they assume 5/9 so just the operators locator given. But five quick fire contacts made which was quite impressive considering the QRP set-up.
