How I Navigate & Communicate | Garmin inReach, GPS & Maps

How do I navigate and stay connected when hiking off-grid in the mountains? In this video I show the navigation and communication setup I use on multi-day hikes in Swedish Lapland. I combine traditional map and compass skills with a Garmin inReach Mini 3 Plus, Garmin Enduro 3, Garmin Explore and Garmin Messenger. I use Garmin Explore for maps, satellite imagery, routes and waypoints, while the inReach gives me satellite communication, two-way messaging and SOS when I am outside mobile coverage. This is simply how I use maps, GPS, satellite communication and Garmin devices together when hiking and camping in remote areas.
