Exploring White Sands National Park In Our Revel

Wind and a tall van… scary! Wind and a sand dune desert… painful! It could ruin your plans and your day… if you let it. The trick is to learn to be OK being blown around by Mother Nature, letting her put you where you’re supposed to be. The trick, for us anyway, is to make the most of every minute of every windy day… whether that’s letting your pup play in the snow on the top of a New Mexico mountain pass or finding out that even sand dunes can kind of be used to block the wind. We’re Owen, Lynn and Maggie of VAN TREKKING lifestyle and we’re glad you found us. If this is your first time we’d like to welcome you to follow along with our journey. For those of you who are already part of our extended travel family your continued support and encouragement keeps us going as we take you with us on this journey… it’s a journey of finding out what’s important to us, not just the traveling but as we continue to try to make the most of retired van life, both on the road and at home. It’s a challenge and you guys make it easier and much more fulfilling and fun! Thank you for making each week a Happy Tails moment for Maggie and us!
