DK Optic Impastolite 2-inch (50mm) f/1.5 Review – Painting with Light in China

The DK Optic Impastolite 2-inch 51mm f/1.5: a rehoused take on the 1940s Dallmeyer Septac for Leica M, tested on film (Leica M4-P) and digital through Lijiang, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shangri-La. A painterly f/1.5 with lovely falloff and a very light build, with a few quirks: a de-clicked aperture right next to the focus ring, a slightly loose mount and f/11 as the smallest aperture.
