Modi-Putin Visit INNOPROM After Bilateral Talks, Eye $100 Billion India-Russia Trade by 2030

According to sources, the success of bringing INNOPROM to India was among the issues discussed during the Modi-Putin meeting, alongside an ambitious target of taking bilateral trade to USD 100 billion by 2030. INNOPROM India is expected to create opportunities for greater industrial cooperation, including collaboration in the rail and tunnelling sectors, development of the steel value chain, expanded B2B opportunities and broader access to the Russian market. Earlier, PM Modi gifted Putin a Russian translation of the Thirukkural, the classical Tamil text by Thiruvalluvar, highlighting the importance of people-to-people ties. Putin's visit comes ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit, hosted by India under its 2026 chairship.
