잔잔한 피아노 음악이 필요한 순간을 위해 만들었습니다. 책을 읽을 때, 공부하거나 일을 할 때, 카페에 조용히 앉아 있을 때, 병원에서 기다리는 시간처럼 마음을 조금 편하게 두고 싶은 순간에 오래 틀어둘 수 있는 음악입니다. 얼마 전 병원에 갔을 때, 공간에 조용히 흐르던 피아노 음악을 들었습니다. 특별히 귀를 기울이지 않아도 자연스럽게 공간을 채우고 있었고, 듣다 보니 마음도 조금 차분해지는 느낌이 들었습니다. 그때 이런 음악을 한번 만들어보고 싶다는 생각을 했어요. 멜로디가 너무 앞에 나서지도 않고, 그렇다고 너무 비어 있지도 않은 음악. 무언가를 하고 있는 동안 곁에 조용히 머물러주는 피아노. 집에서 책을 읽을 때도, 카페에서 시간을 보낼 때도, 집중이 필요한 순간에도, 괜히 마음이 어수선해서 조금 가라앉고 싶은 날에도 편하게 틀어둘 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 이번 영상은 약 44분의 피아노 음악을 한 번 더 이어 약 1시간 28분 동안 들을 수 있도록 구성했습니다. 한 곡 한 곡을 따라가기보다, 하나의 편안한 공간처럼 오래 머물 수 있기를 바랐습니다. Not long ago, I heard soft piano music playing in a hospital. It wasn't trying to stand out. It was simply there, gently filling the space. And after a while, I noticed that I felt a little calmer too. That moment stayed with me, and it made me want to create something similar. Piano that doesn't pull you along with a strong melody, but doesn't feel empty either. Music that quietly stays beside you while you go about your day. For reading at home, for studying or focusing, for a slow moment in a café, or for those days when your thoughts feel a little too busy.
