नामकरण संस्कार वा न्वारान हिन्दु धर्मका सोह्र संस्कारमध्ये बच्चा, युवा वा वयस्क मानिसलाई आ-आफ्नो रितिरिवाज वा प्रचलन अनुसार नाम राखिने कार्य हो । शिशु जन्मेको ११ औँ दिनमा न्वारान गर्ने गरिन्छ । परापूर्वकालदेखि शास्त्रमा बताइए अनुसार शिशु जन्मेको १० औँ दिनसम्मलाई वृद्धि सूतक मानिएको हुनाले ११ औँ दिनमा यो संस्कार गर्ने चलन चलेको हुनसक्छ । कर्मकाण्ड ज्ञाता विद्वान्हरू शुभ नक्षत्र वा शुभ दिनमा यो संस्कार गर्न उचित मान्छन् । Namkaran Sanskar or Navaran is one of the sixteen Sanskars of Hinduism, naming children, young people or adults according to their respective customs or traditions.
