Clarification with Clarior | Ft. Ashwin Agrawal Episode 01 — The Paths We Don't Plan For | Pawan Singh Bhati What happens when your career doesn't go exactly according to plan? In the first episode of Clarification with Clarior, I sit down with Pawan Singh Bhati Sir, Assistant Manager at Newton School of Technology, Rishihood University (NST, RU), for an honest conversation about college, careers, uncertainty, entrepreneurship, and finding your own path. Pawan Sir's journey is anything but conventional — from NIT Rourkela and teaching, to entrepreneurship, exploring the path of becoming an Indian Air Force Fighter Pilot, preparing for UPSC Civil Services, working in the startup space, and eventually returning to the education ecosystem. In this episode, we talk about: • What students often get wrong about college and careers • Life at NIT Rourkela • Taking a career break for Air Force & UPSC preparation • Whether a career break is really a waste of time • Entrepreneurship and the reality behind building something • What students actually need vs. what they think they need • College environment and student life • Salary, stability and taking risks • Career confusion and finding your own path • Lessons from an unconventional career journey Clarification with Clarior is a conversation series where we talk to people with different experiences, perspectives and journeys — especially around college, careers, entrepreneurship and life — to help young people see things from a clearer perspective. This is a conversation, not a verdict.
