URÐR — The Norns Know Your Fate | VÉDIS

URÐR — Your Fate Is Already Written | Dark Nordic Folk & Ancient Norse Ritual Music What if the day of your death had already been woven into a thread? I'm Runa Solveig, the voice behind VÉDIS. URÐR is a dark Nordic folk ritual inspired by the Norns, the mysterious weavers of fate in Norse mythology. A woman follows a crimson thread deep into an ancient forest, where she discovers an old woman weaving beside a black pool. Every thread holds a memory. Every knot marks a moment. But what awaits her at the end? Through haunting Old Norse poetry, deep ritual drums, ancient tagelharpa and ethereal female choirs, URÐR explores fate, mortality and the things we cannot escape. Hverr batt þráð minn? Who tied my thread? Hverr veit minn dag? Who knows my day? For those who love dark Nordic folk, Old Norse chanting, pagan ritual music and the mysteries of Yggdrasil.
