I Need To See The Cross by Michelina Field

For the message of the cross is the power of God to us who are being saved. - 1 Corinthians 1:18 There are moments in life when everything else becomes blurry. The worries, the busy days, the hurts we carry — they crowd our view. And in those moments, the heart whispers what this picture shows: I need to see the cross. Not just to glance at it, but to fix my eyes on it again. To walk toward it, one step at a time, even when the hill feels long. The cross is where love and justice met. It is where Jesus took our place, so that we would never have to walk alone. The world may see the cross as just a symbol, or even foolishness, as Paul says in 1 Corinthians. But for those of us who are being saved, it is power. It is forgiveness when we have failed. It is healing when we are broken. It is hope when the road ahead is uncertain.
