For the most part the guitar is great. 10ms more latency in wired mode compared to a Riffmaster isn't the worst thing, especially when I still have to use different calibration profiles for pad and guitar. The mech frets aren't super loud, and while it seems like the strum bar's haptic feedback is making my wrist hurt at least I can turn it off (and see if it's that or I'm not used to using an LP). The button for deploying Overdrive, though, is terrible. It's in the absolute worst place of any controller. My wrist rests directly above the battery compartment, and there's no comfortable way to press the button. Using the thumb side of my palm means I have to press my wrist against the guitar and doesn't feel natural (and I've completely missed the button a couple times), and moving my hand that far to hit it with the other side is super awkward while still trying to play and is causing me actual shoulder pain and discomfort. It all seems to be because I'm gripping the strum bar toward the center. I might try moving my hand further down so I can easily palm the button, because it's been an awful experience so far. And speaking of awful, shove item shop FOMO for gameplay items in the trash.
