Building a garage by hand piling

In this episode we show how we use our method of hand piling to build a garage below an existing property. We drilled over 76 piles 300mm in diameter and a depth of 6 meters. The piles have steel reinforced cages and are filled with concrete. After the piling was completed we make a capping beam, this allows all the piles to be tied together and leave a solid base to build on top of.
