EMBERS OF ATLAS – LIKE WATER THROUGH MY FINGERS (Official Music Video)

“Like Water Through My Fingers” is about loss you can’t stop. Not sudden. Not violent. Slow. Quiet. Inevitable. It’s the feeling of gripping harder while everything slips anyway. Of watching love, trust, and identity drain away drop by drop. You don’t break all at once — you erode. This song lives in that erosion. No closure. No redemption arc. Just the sick calm of realizing it’s already gone. We didn’t chase clarity. We chased the moment right before you give up. The space where hope still twitches, even though it’s dying. This is Embers of Atlas. 🎸 Riffs that drag like dead weight. 💀 Synths that pulse like something breathing under water. 🎤 Vocals that sound held under too long — cracking, pleading, dissolving. There’s no studio sheen here. No comfort. No escape. This track was carved out in isolation — late nights, locked doors, and rooms that felt smaller every take. Recorded when it hurt enough to be honest. Kept rough because smoothing it out felt like lying. This is nu-metal for people who stayed too long. Alt-metal for anyone who felt themselves thinning out to survive. It doesn’t explode. It sinks. 🖤 From the upcoming EP. Subscribe. Don’t look away. 📽️ Visuals soaked in distortion, motion blur, and decay — nothing stays solid. 🎧 Turn it up. Let it leak out of you. Let it be gone. 📌 Follow Embers of Atlas: Instagram: www.instagram.com/embersofatlas X/Twitter: www.x.com/EmbersOfAtlas Facebook: www.facebook.com/embersofatlas 🔧🎙️🔥 How We Make Our Music We don’t record where things sound good. We record where things feel bad. Broken routines. Digital drums punched in until they feel mechanical and cruel. Vocals tracked on the edge of control — kept when they shouldn’t be. 🎛️ Adobe Audition. AI-assisted mastering. No polish. No rescue. No label. No permission. No one stepping in to save it from itself. This is Embers of Atlas. If it makes you uncomfortable, it’s working. #LikeWaterThroughMyFingers #EmbersOfAtlas #UKNuMetal #AltMetal2026 #BedroomMetal #DIYMetal #RawVocals #NuMetalRevival #EmotionalMetal #HeavyAltRock #IndependentBand #UndergroundMetal #CrushingRiffs #IndustrialAltMetal #BasementMetal #UKMetalScene #DarkAltMusic #NoLabelMetal #IndieMetalBand #AlternativeMetal #AltMetalUK #HeavyMusicUK #NuMetal2026 #EmotionalRock #RelationshipMetal #LossAndLettingGo #heavymusicvideo
