Today, popular artist Gordon Mackenzie demonstrates two paintings using fascinating watercolour techniques. In the first study, he paints incredibly realistic water rippling over pebbles at the bottom of a riverbed. The water looks so real - you can see through it to the fish swimming by. In the second painting, Gordon uses a simple but very effective method of rolling kitchen paper over the wet paint to create the crest of the waves on a beach scene.
