Renovated & Reopened Davidson River Campground Site Tour

Davidson River Campground in the Pisgah National Forest, Transylvania County near Brevard, North Carolina. The Western North Carolina "Land of Waterfall". WNC hiking. mountain biking, fishing and day trips are all within minutes of this campground. A short, scenic drive to mountain destinations like the Blue Ridge Parkway, DuPont State Recreational Forest and Gorges State Park make this campground a perfect "Base Camp" for outdoor adventures. The Davidson River Campground has been closed for the entire 2026 season for renovations and reopened on October 1, 2026. This vlog was filmed on October 3, 2026 after hiking the North Slope Trail that starts in the Laurel Loop of the campground. New bath/shower houses, fresh pavement on the interior roads and campsites, new dual-lane dumping station and many other renovations are shown in the video.
