I Designed My Own Headphone Desk Mount in Onshape

I got tired of my headphones taking up space on my desk, so instead of buying a headphone stand, I decided to design my own desk-mounted headphone hanger from scratch in Onshape. I measured my desk and headphones, created the design requirements, sketched 3 concepts, chose one, and turned it into a working CAD assembly. Along the way, I hit a problem: I had never made screw threads in Onshape before. So I had to figure it out while building. This is V1. It works in CAD, but that doesn’t mean it works in real life yet. The next step is 3D printing it and testing the actual fit and strength. I’m 14 and documenting myself learning coding, CAD, engineering and AI by actually building things.
