BLOOMFIELD TRACK: Why You Need To Drive This Route

Taking it slow on the Bloomfield Track as we make our way from Cooktown towards the incredible Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland. 🚙🌴 We’re Paul and Tan, and we’re Escaping Crowds on Lap 2.0 around Australia in our Toyota Troopcarrier, Simba. Almost two months after leaving home in Perth, we’re continuing our journey through Queensland — and this time we're slowing things down even more. We leave Cooktown behind and take on the famous Bloomfield Track, a spectacular 4WD route between Cooktown and Cape Tribulation. With rainforest, mountains, rivers, creek crossings and some seriously beautiful landscapes, the journey is every bit as memorable as the destination. From the Bloomfield Track, we continue towards the ancient Daintree Rainforest, exploring some of the incredible scenery along the way.
