5 Best Army Duty Stations

🔗Stronger Body, Safer Home And $3,000 More A Year, The Military Way https://gunnykessler.com/ I take you through five of the Army’s most sought-after duty stations and explain what makes each one appealing—or difficult—for soldiers and their families. From Hawaii and Alaska to South Korea, Colorado, and Germany, I look at the life outside the gate, not just the unit or commander. I cover the location, weather, training, cost of living, travel, family life, and the challenges that come with each assignment. I also explain how reenlistment options, preparation, and making the most of available recreation programs can improve a soldier’s chances of getting the post he wants. As a former Marine drill instructor, I’ve seen how the right attitude can turn almost any assignment into a memorable chapter. I also share why Germany takes the top spot and what soldiers should consider before chasing their dream duty station. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0:00 Why soldiers remember a duty station 1:48 What makes a duty station great 3:11 Schofield Barracks and life in Hawaii 6:42 Alaska and extreme cold training 9:44 South Korea and Camp Humphreys 13:34 Fort Carson and the Rocky Mountains 16:03 Germany’s military life and travel 21:51 How to earn and make the most of your dream post
