Sac Monday Ruins (2)(12th October 2026) #quakechampions #quake

Team Red: M4R5H411, Nightcrawler74, HEXNA1L Team Blue: ST3F4NO, DrJones, TigerBLUE This was the 3rd match in last night's Sac Monday session, as we'd finished the first two games quite quickly we snuck in an extra Ruins match, with a different team setup for better balance. My teammates had already picked Death Knight and Galena (my two favourites) so I opted to go with Eisen for a change, I don't know how to play Eisen ;-) I had seen some players having great success positioning their turret on top of the "Soul pillars" so I tried that a few times but couldn't make it land. I think you have to Rocket Jump above the pillar first and then drop the turret on top...live and learn ;-) = = = I've just had my internet upgraded ! Looks like my upload speeds are probably 5x quicker now and I think my download speeds might be as much as 10x quicker ! Hopefully when I'm playing in game my ping/network consistency is at least as good as it was before, in theory it should be better as I've not only gone "full fibre" but my "in house routing" from outside connection to my PC has been streamlined. We shall see ! :-)
