This step-by-step video demonstates the process of scanning a (check) socket and foam model, to have a definitive socket manufactured at our Össur Socket Solution central fabrication location. The scanning process includes making 3 scans; the first scan captures the outside and inside of the socket, the second scan includes the outside of the socket with the foam model inside, and the third scan captures the foam model. How it works: Use a customized and clinically fitted socket Scan the socket in the right alignment and scan the positive model Upload the scans to Ossur Socket Solutions Send the order form with all socket and componentry details to Customer Service Get your definitive socket soon after Preparation: 3D-scanner and laptop Board with pyramid adapter 4mm hex key Scan spray Adhesive tape Easy release Flexible foam Note: Please submit PLY- or STL-files.
