Next week, I have a big presentation — a company-wide contest, in front of a lot of people. Honestly, I'm nervous. I've been preparing for weeks, and it all comes down to that one day. In Japanese companies, there's a lot of "nemawashi" — quietly building support behind the scenes. Often it's the people who are good at this kind of social maneuvering who get ahead, not always the ones with the best results. I've never been good at that part. So this time, I really want to prove myself through the work itself. Tonight, before the big day, I'm doing what I always do to steady myself — going to Ichiran.
