The Fabric Chose Me... So I Made My Favorite Blouse Again

A little blue sewing project This project actually started while we were away for a little weekend trip. I visited a lovely haberdashery and came home with a few practical sewing supplies, a rather adorable sewing machine mug, and this beautiful blue floral knit fabric. The moment I saw the fabric, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. I've made the Adrienne Blouse by Friday Pattern Company before, and it's one of those patterns that I keep coming back to because it's simple, comfortable, and surprisingly quick to sew. Not sponsored or anything by the way. I loved the watercolor-like blue flowers on this fabric, and I thought they would be perfect for this blouse. Since it's a stretchy knit, most of the construction could be done on my serger, which made the sewing process especially quick. But this vlog isn't just about sewing. There are a few quiet summer moments too—lunch outside, a little walk with Lotti, reading in the garden, and enjoying the sunshine before coming back to the sewing room.
