Some insurance carriers have reduced or eliminated agent compensation for standalone Part D plans. Although the Medi65 team will continue helping whenever possible in states where we’re licensed, this video shows you how to compare and enroll in a Medicare drug plan yourself through Medicare.gov. Licensed Medicare advisor Nathan Wright walks you through the complete process step by step. HERE’S WHAT WE COVER: ✅ WHAT TO HAVE READY Before comparing plans, gather: • Your red, white, and blue Medicare card • A complete list of your prescriptions and dosages • The pharmacy you prefer to use 🔍 HOW TO COMPARE PART D PLANS You’ll learn how to: • Visit Medicare.gov and select “Find Health & Drug Plans” • Enter your ZIP code • Choose a standalone Medicare Part D plan • Indicate whether you receive Medicaid, Extra Help, or other assistance • Enter your prescriptions and dosages • Compare nearby and mail-order pharmacies • Review premiums and estimated annual drug costs • Compare multiple plans side by side • Save or print your results 💰 DON’T COMPARE PREMIUMS ALONE The plan with the lowest monthly premium may not have the lowest overall cost. Medicare’s Plan Compare tool estimates your combined annual premium and prescription expenses based on the medications and pharmacies you enter. Your prescriptions must also appear on the plan’s formulary for its coverage to apply. 📅 IMPORTANT ENROLLMENT DATES Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7. Changes made during this period generally begin January 1 of the following year. 💊 2027 PART D OUT-OF-POCKET LIMIT For 2027, the annual out-of-pocket limit for covered Part D prescriptions is $2,400. Once you reach that amount, you generally pay nothing more for covered Part D drugs for the remainder of the calendar year. Remember: This protection applies only to medications covered by your plan. Always confirm that your prescriptions are included on the plan’s formulary. 📝 HOW TO ENROLL After selecting a plan, Nathan explains how to: • Choose the correct enrollment period • Enter your Medicare and personal information • Answer questions about other drug coverage • Select a premium-payment method • Review your information • Submit your enrollment request Take your time, verify every medication and dosage, and compare total estimated annual costs before submitting your enrollment. At Medi65, we help people understand Medicare and make informed coverage decisions with confidence.
