After being in a slump that went on for way too long, I’m sharing my personal commitment to create more than I consume which is a mindset that’s been on my heart for a while but truly came alive after attending Martina Calvi’s book release event for A Year Of Junk Journaling. Hearing Martina talk about creativity as something playful, imperfect, and deeply personal reminded me that making things doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t have to be “good” or “productive.” It just has to be yours.
