What is this life, so generously given, Then stripped away until my soul feels torn and taken, Even as she offered me her entire life To buy back me all the joy I lost Can it be true, coz I have lost my soul Just asking for a love beyond belief my love Well, here is my response, i still love her given in writing: I will not beg to keep us side by side, I only ask that she may know true peace and guide And in eternal happiness abide. Until then let her live the life's she seized Let her lead every path she needs, Grant her true friends with whom her heart can speak, Find her quiet land where she may rest and sleep Beneath a sky that lulls the tired and weakness she feels. Do u believe that now I love her still even with this bleed Favour I ask now Grant me just one final, quiet grace: Please take me first before her light if it fades. Do not test me beyond what I can bear; This fragile heart has nothing left to trade.
