Through the birth of The Vol Network, Lindsey Nelson's passionate voice united fans across the Volunteer State. With the backing of legendary General Neyland, Nelson pioneered an in-house network with ambitions to deliver Tennessee Football radio broadcasts throughout the state of Tennessee and the Southeast region. After setting the stage for the Vol Network that we still know 75 years later, Lindsey Nelson continued to gather broadcasting accolades as a national broadcaster for CBS and the New York Mets.
