Mercedes-Benz EQB: One of the only electric seven-seaters

The Mercedes MQB launches into an electric car market that has exploded in popularity and choice over the last couple of years. Where there were once only a handful of decent electric models to choose from, there are now dozens of various shapes and sizes, offering EV buyers real variety, not to mention some serious talent. However, one niche in the market that manufacturers have been surprisingly slow to fill is to cater for those buyers who want to go electric, but who also want, or need, seven seats. Not all that long ago, your only option would be to blow top-dollar on a Tesla, either a Model S or a Model X. Mercedes is looking to change all that, though. Having recently released the EQV, an all-electric version of the V-Class people carrier, the brand has now followed it up with this, the EQB. Based on the GLB mid-size SUV, it packs its seven chairs into a much more compact footprint, and has an official driving range of 257 miles. The question is, can it perform in other areas?
