After settling in ubuntu villa, we headed out for a peaceful walk that led us straight to the sea. There’s something about that first stretch of coastline in a new country the salt air, the sound of the waves, the quiet excitement of everything still ahead of us. We took our time there before heading back to the villa. And as if the timing couldn’t get any better, we landed right in the middle of Sri Lankan New Year! We celebrated the festivities right on the property, soaking in the local traditions and joining in the joy of the season.
