2013 Halloween at Great Wolf Lodge (Waterpark)

We spent Halloween at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. It is something incredible. It's a theme based resort and has an indoor waterpark! It's really impressive and children love it. I suggest it, but make sure you call ahead and explain how you plan to lodge there. There can be some surprises that can arise that make what otherwise is an incredible family event have a couple of thorny problems. Still, be that as it may, this lodge has much to offer! Our daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and Downs Syndrome and this was her first real go at a water park and loved it! Our son loved it also, especially the bunk beds. He left his notebook there and the Lodge was quick to respond to locate it and send it back to us at our home! (A big thank you to Steve and the crew for taking care of that matter respectfully, responsibly!) Always check your children's bunk beds before checking out! It is very easy to miss anything left in the top bunk. The safety rail will hide low profile belongings left int the bed! Overall, I like it, I think it shows a great effort to make a wonderful family experience that is still trying to smooth out customer experience issues, but for all who go and have no issues, it must be an over the top experience. For us, it was just short of top of the mark, but that doesn't mean there's still not value there. I do still see it and recommend it.
