Trains in Zurich Affoltern 🇨🇭 | Vectron & Double-Header Gravel Train

Welcome to Zurich Affoltern, Switzerland, on a beautiful September afternoon! 🚆☀️ In this first part of my Zurich Affoltern railway series, enjoy the regular train traffic at this station, where S-Bahn trains dominate the scene and freight trains occasionally pass through. The colourful Zurich S-Bahn makes another appearance, adding a splash of colour to the sunny afternoon. Due to an operational problem at Zurich Oerlikon station, frequent announcements can be heard during the filming. The highlights include a freight train hauled by a Vectron locomotive and an impressive gravel train with two locomotives, led by a Swiss Re 620 (Re 6/6). Join me for a relaxed afternoon of Swiss railway action, regional S-Bahn services and some interesting freight traffic. 📍 Location: Zurich Affoltern, Zurich, Switzerland 🎥 Filmed in mid-September 2026 If you enjoy Swiss trains, freight locomotives and railway videos, feel free to like, comment and subscribe to jg71train for more railway action from Switzerland. #ZurichAffoltern #SwissTrains #Re66
