ACA Allertor 125 Tornado Siren Test - Batavia, Ohio - June 3, 2020

What a great test! Went to Batavia to see my first Allertor and man was it impressive! Definitely very loud! Got there about 11:43am and got a scope of the area and got my cameras set up. I later saw a Clermont Joint Fire EMS District truck pull up to which I believe they were there to ensure the operation of the Allertor because after the siren fired up they left. Right at noon I heard tones go over my scanner and the Allertor came to life! A bird flew out of the nest it built below the Allertor's rotator after it started up. Following the test, I met a very nice family who lives in town who brought their little son there to witness the Allertor's test (seen at the end of the video below the siren). They then proceeded to walk over to me and chat about the siren. The weather was great except for a little wind (which moved my camera around from the centered angle on the siren to a slightly awkward angle, sorry about that - might need to purchase a heavier duty tripod in the future). I also got a new camera (Canon EOS Rebel T7) a short time ago and this was my first time using it to record a siren and I think it did well. Well, I hope you all enjoy the video!
