At Home Simulated Cross Country

Time to get creative at home as we simulate a cross country lines in the arena—with the help of my fabulous sponsor Polyjumps! In this video, both Jam and Winnie tackle some seriously useful cross country-style exercises right here in my 20x40 arena. This was the perfect way to keep on top of XC riding without having to leave the yard. The lovely Georgie (long-time viewers will definitely remember her from older videos!) is back in the area, which means I can now rope her into training duties—and let’s just say, she doesn’t let anything slide. Georgie’s a 3* rider with high standards, so I had to have my brave pants on. Jam is gearing up for her first 100cm of the season, so her session was focused on technical lines, combinations and skinny fences. Meanwhile, Winnie has only just stepped up to 90cm, so her schooling was all about giving her confidence and showing her the ropes with narrower fences and angled approaches.
