Federal police raided 26 properties across Australia, and a 42-year-old public servant from one of Adelaide's most expensive suburbs was led out in handcuffs. The AFP puts the total at $235 million in actual and potential fraud. So how much of that sits with the five people charged?
In this video:
• The Parkside raid and the 78 NDIS records at the centre of it
• All seven investigations, from a $700,000 case to a $100 million one
• The fake myGov site that compromised about 2,000 Centrelink records
• ATM withdrawals, gift cards and gold bullion in the largest case
• What police seized, and where the $235 million sits
Legal status: Five people have been charged. All are presumed innocent, none of the allegations has been tested in court, and no one has been convicted. Other investigations in this video have produced no arrests or charges. The $235 million is the AFP's figure for actual and potential fraud across seven investigations. It is not an allegation against the five people charged.
