Join me as I share the simple joys of rural life in Iran, from preparing traditional homemade bread to caring for farm animals and cooking a delicious family meal. ❤️ My morning begins with preparing dough for traditional village bread. While the dough rests, I take the mattresses, blankets, and pillows outside and spread them under the warm sunshine. This is a traditional household routine that we follow when the weather is still pleasant, helping the bedding get fresh air before the cold winter season arrives. We usually repeat this process toward the end of winter as well. After taking care of the household chores, I visit the chickens and chicks to make sure they are well cared for. Then it is time to prepare a delicious homemade meal: traditional potato and minced meat patties! I grate potatoes, onions, and tomatoes, then combine them with minced meat, eggs, flour, and aromatic spices. After mixing everything thoroughly, I let the mixture rest in the refrigerator while I pick fresh herbs from the garden. Next, I light the traditional oven, divide the dough into small portions, and bake fresh village bread. The wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread fills the countryside home, bringing back the warmth and charm of traditional village cooking. Once the bread is ready, I fry the homemade meat patties until golden and serve them with warm traditional bread and fresh garden herbs. It is a simple, comforting, and delicious homemade meal made with everyday ingredients.
