It was supposed to be a simple shakedown for the Mark 1 Mini, but things didn't exactly go to plan... I’ve built a new bracket system to mount the Brantz trip meter and rally timer, specifically designed for easy navigator access (and easy removal!). I've gone for a full "proper" setup with Deutsch connectors and labeled wiring, but there’s a catch—the sensor installation is proving to be a bit of a hybrid challenge. The Shakedown Drama: We took the Mk1 out for a test run to the gym, but it decided to cut out on the way back. Diagnosis? A dead mechanical fuel pump. A huge thank you to Robbie Cooper for the tow back to the workshop! Better it happens now than in the middle of an event in two weeks, right?
