Labyrinth Zone with lyrics - Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis)

In a world, where one team of game developers put the most frustrating levels in the middle of the game for some reason, one hedgehog must overcome badniks, projectiles, balls on chains, and that weird glitch that allows spikes to penetrate your mercy invulnerability. This song is about my part in this struggle. Sonic the Hedgehog was an interactive joypad-input-interpreting experience released for Sega's pixel-based entertainment funbox, the Mega Drive, in 1991. Much of the game evoked enjoyment by facilitating the use of speed by the user, allowing them to experience a brisk pace that they could not experience in reality without being involved in an accident caused by friction-reducing sneakers and a big wheel (assuming you subscribe to the K=R canon). This section of the game subverted this by forcing the user to locomote through a chemical substance known as water, which would inhibit high-speed hi-jinks and, in some cases, living. Who does that?
