Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin

The song was written by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page during their concert tour in Iceland. The track is heavily inspired by Norse mythology and history. It is written from the perspective of Viking warriors who are sailing from the "land of the ice and snow" to conquer new territories on the western shore. The lyrics mention important elements of Viking culture, such as Valhalla (the mythical paradise for fallen fighters) and the "hammer of the gods", which refers to Thor's hammer. Music. Life. Moments.
