In the winter of 1947 a shepherd boy throws a rock into a cave above the Dead Sea and hears pottery break. Inside the sealed clay jars is a 24-foot scroll of the complete book of Isaiah, copied more than a hundred years before Jesus was born. Isaiah 53 is in it: "pierced for our transgressions."
This video walks through the prophecies Jesus fulfilled, in the order of his life:
The seed of the woman, the line of Judah and David's throne
Bethlehem Ephrathah, Emmanuel, "Out of Egypt" and Rachel weeping in Ramah
The Nazareth synagogue, where Jesus stopped reading mid-sentence
A king on a donkey, thirty pieces of silver and a potter's field
Isaiah 53, the chapter in the jar
Psalm 22, a song describing a death that did not exist yet
The road to Emmaus, where Jesus explained all of it himself
It is not about proof-texting. It is about a God who wrote the ending down first, sealed it in a jar, and then walked into it on purpose.
