How Should Christians Respond to a Wicked Culture?

What does Genesis 18 teach about Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham’s intercession, and the justice of God? In Genesis 18:16–33, Abraham speaks with God about the coming judgment of Sodom and asks one of Scripture’s great questions: “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” This sermon explores: • Why God revealed His plans for Sodom to Abraham • What Abraham’s prayer teaches us about intercession • God’s justice, mercy, and patience toward sinners • The biblical sin of Sodom and Gomorrah • How Christians should respond to a sinful culture • Why believers should pray for the lost rather than simply long for judgment 📖 Genesis 18:16–33 River Community Church is a Reformed Presbyterian church (PCA) in Prairieville, Louisiana, serving Ascension Parish and the greater Baton Rouge area.
