The walk passes through Beijie, Zhaoming Terrace and the heart of the ancient city — but then goes beyond the tourist streets, into local neighborhoods, residential lanes and a traditional farmers’ market. Old houses, vegetable stalls, people shopping for groceries, neighbors chatting, and everyday life unfolding just a few streets away from the historic walls. Finally, the walk reaches Zhongxuan Tower at the southeastern corner of the ancient city.
