I bought an old apartment in Estoril, Portugal for €315,000, renovated it, and eventually sold it for €415,000. This was my first apartment bought specifically to renovate and resell — and there was a lot I had to figure out along the way: finding the right property, dealing with Portuguese bureaucracy, renovating an older apartment, working with contractors, and eventually finding a buyer. And no, the €100,000 difference wasn't my profit. In this video, I also share what the renovation, taxes, agent commission and other costs actually looked like. I'm Elena.
