Day 32 of the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte continues in the second half of the October 1 proceedings. After the recess, the Senate impeachment court dealt with the presentation of AMLC Executive Director Ronel Buenaventura and the defense's request for more time to examine the AMLC summaries and related documents. The court eventually granted the request and moved the AMLC testimony to October 5. The prosecution also confirmed that former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV would no longer be presented as a witness in the impeachment trial.
