As believers, we are called to live a life that defies human logic. You cannot separate a true believer from their faith. It is our identity, our spiritual currency, and our life support. Standing here in the Sanctuary of Prayer, let us anchor our hearts today on what scripture teaches about this supernatural force. ##scriptura Foundations *Matthew 17:19-20* "Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, 'Why couldn't we drive it out?' He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'" *Mark 11:23* "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them." *Romans 1:17* "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous shall live by faith.'" 4 Key Characteristics of True Faith 1. True Faith is Inseparable from the Believer You cannot separate a child of God from their faith; it is the very atmosphere we breathe. *The Father of Faith:* Abraham, our spiritual father, walked by faith. He went out not knowing where he was going, but he trusted the One who called him. *The Cry of the Desperate:* In our moments of weakness, our cry should match the father in the scriptures who said, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" Mark 9:24. Even when our faith feels small, it must remain anchored in God. 2. True Faith is Grounded in the Unseen (No Physical Proof) Faith is a firm belief in the promises of God, even when there is absolutely nothing physical to show for it. *Beyond Human Logic:* If someone asks you, "Why do you believe?" and you look around, you may have no material evidence to present yet. But faith is not based on what we see; it is based on *Who* we know. *The Witness of the Ancients:* Hebrews 11:13 reminds us that the heroes of faith died still believing, having welcomed the promises from a distance. True faith trusts God's timing over our immediate reality. 3. True Faith Shakes and Moves Mountains Jesus taught us in Matthew 17 that even faith as small as a mustard seed has explosive, dynamic power. *Overcoming Obstacles:* Mountains represent the massive, immovable challenges in our lives sickness, financial strain, or emotional brokenness. *Speak to the Mountain:* True faith does not complain about the mountain; it speaks to the mountain in the authority of Jesus Christ. If you do not doubt in your heart, what you command will be done. 4. True Faith Demands Daily Growth Our faith is not stagnant. The spiritual altitude of your life is determined by how you nurture your faith daily. *The Driver of Progress:* Faith is the engine that pushes you forward through the storms of life. Without it, we stall and succumb to the pressures of this world. A Daily Prayer :We must actively pray every single day: Lord, increase and grow my faith."* Our tomorrow what we will receive and how we will stand is determined by how we treat and build our faith today. Conclusion & Call to Action My brothers and sisters, remember the anchor promise of this sanctuary from Psalms 2:8: "Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations." We cannot claim the nations, and we cannot move our mountains, without absolute faith. When the road is dark, when the mountain is high, and when there is no physical proof of victory, stand firm and declare: *"Still, I believe You."* Commit today to walk not by sight, but by faith. Pray for a supernatural growth in your spiritual life, and watch God move the mountains before you. *Let us pray:* Father, we thank You for Your Word. We ask that You burn a fire of true faith within our hearts today. Help our unbelief, strengthen our inner man, and give us the grace to speak to every mountain in our path.
